Sheep Wraps per Inch Gauge for measurement of wraps per inch of yarn from Lace weight to Chunky. The 2.5cm marked measurement slot beneath the body allows yarn to be wrapped around, the number of wraps counted and compared with the sizes decoratively marked on the rear. Pinch slots between the front legs and beneath the head can be used to secure the yarn tails as you wrap. Overall size ~ 9 x 6.5cm. Scale of sizes conveniently engraved on rear.
Wpi Guide is a non sheep shaped version which works in the same way as the sheep wpi. There are additional markings measuring the average thickness of yarns from lace weight to chunky for a quick check of the yarn weight/thickness without needing to wrap.
