This workshop will give you the basics in hand stitching and embroidery and is 4 x 2 hours sessions.
Session 1 will teach you how to prepare your fabric, transfer a design and work simple stitches
You will need a selection of threads, beads, found objects, and fabric scraps, 2 x 30cm squares of cotton, linen, or wool felt, pins, a selection of sewing needles, scissors, a 20cm embroidery hoop. Choose no more than 3 colours, aiming for at least one of your colours to be a high contrast. Materials and needles are available to buy from us if you prefer.
You can bring up to 6 people for this workshop.The price is for the time, not per person. Let us know how many before the day.
