Each Dorset button kit comes with written instructions supported by colour photographs, 10 closed rings, hand dyed thread suitable for Dorset button making and a tapestry needle. We use high quality superwash wool in our Dorset button kits so they can be washed in the machine at a low temperature (Always wash Dorset buttons first before attaching to a garment or project, to ensure dye fastness). Each kit comes packed in a plastic free cloth bag, made locally and often from recycled materials.
Patterns in the kit are crosswheel, yarrell, daisy chain, flower, and cross. All suitable for learning this wonderful ancient technique.
